Workshops rarely need a new supply from the network; they need the supply they already have distributed properly. Machines fed by trailing leads from a single socket circuit is a common sight and a common insurance problem.
We design and install three-phase distribution, machine supplies with local isolation, and sub-mains to separate areas, with the whole arrangement documented on a board schedule.

Balancing the phases
Loading one phase heavily while the others sit idle causes nuisance issues and wastes capacity you have already paid for. Part of the design work is distributing loads sensibly across all three.
Isolation and safe working
Every fixed machine needs a means of isolation that can be secured, so maintenance can be carried out safely. Where this is missing we flag it before it appears on a condition report.
Planning for growth
Adding two spare ways and slightly larger sub-main costs little at install and saves a full board change when the next machine arrives. We ask what you expect to add over the next few years.

Can you supply single-phase machines from a three-phase board?
Yes, distributed across phases to keep loading balanced.
Will the unit have to shut down?
Only briefly during changeover, and we schedule that around your production.
