Power and cabling for CCTV and security systems
Power and cabling for CCTV, video doorbells and security lighting across South Wales — proper fused supplies, weatherproof routes and certification.

Security kit is increasingly easy to buy and still awkward to power well. Video doorbells need a suitable transformer or a fused supply, cameras need weatherproof cable routes, and a plug-in transformer hanging in a loft is not a permanent installation.
We provide the electrical side properly: fused supplies, protected routes, and tidy terminations that survive a Welsh winter.
- Fused supplies for doorbell transformers and camera PSUs
- Weatherproof external cable routes and glands
- Coordination with PoE network cabling where used
- Certificate for any new or altered circuits
Doorbell transformers
Most video doorbells want a specific transformer output. Feeding one from a switched fused spur in a sensible location makes it serviceable — feeding it from a plug in a cupboard makes it a future fault.
Camera positions and cable routes
Camera positions are chosen for coverage; cable routes then have to follow without leaving cable exposed to weather or interference. We plan both together so you do not end up compromising coverage after the drilling starts.
PoE and network cabling
Where cameras are network-powered, we run and terminate the data cabling on the same visit and provide power to the recorder or switch position.
Common questions
Do you supply the cameras?
We focus on the power and cabling, and work alongside whatever system you or your installer choose.
Can you power a doorbell without visible cable?
Usually — routes are normally available through the loft or the existing hall lighting circuit area.
Is this notifiable work?
Extending an existing circuit generally is not; new outdoor circuits are, and we notify those.
